Coconut offers a digital current account and we mostly see deposits via bank transfer. With that said, we're exploring ways to allow customers to pay in cheques directly and you can check out our progress on the Product Roadmap.

For now, if you have a high street bank account, you can use this to deposit cheques. Your bank may require that the payee name matches the one on your account, but it's best to check with them if in doubt.

Once it clears, you'll then be able to transfer it over to your Coconut account. If your high street bank offers Faster Payments, it can take up to 2 hours to arrive (for BACS, it's 3 working days).
 
Alternatively, you could ask your clients to pay directly into your Coconut account using your Account Number and Sort Code, which you can find in the app.
