Making Tax Digital: Error 403: the client or agent not authorised

This error is typically sent back from HMRC when the HMRC account you are linking to Coconut is not yet configured for MTD.

Whilst you may already have a HMRC Gateway account you are still required to register for MTD directly with HMRC.

Please register HERE.

Once HMRC have confirmed your registration has been completed please return back to Coconut to complete the setup.
