Because we're branchless, depositing cash works slightly different to how it would with a high street bank but it's just as easy with Coconut.
- Your Coconut card
- Your PIN (instructions on where to find this)
- And the cash you're depositing. The Post Office need this to be at least £5 and up to £500 per top-up, GBP only. You might see a charge for additional deposits (read on for more info about that).
Then, it's off to your nearest Post Office branch.
Once you're there, head to the counter and inform the cashier that you'd like to deposit cash onto your card. They'll ask you for the cash and to insert your card into a Point of Sale Device / card reader and enter your PIN when prompted. If that doesn't work, for any reason, they should present an option to swipe your card instead.
Your account will then be automatically credited within 24 hours.
Be sure to keep your receipt to share with our Support team, in case there's a delay and we need to help track down these funds.
The Post Office charges for this service, so there is a small £1 charge for customers on our Start plan.
